Visa Information
Participants planning to attend the World Conference on Forensic Science and Research (WCFSR-2026), scheduled to take place from November 16–18, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan, are advised to review the visa requirements applicable to their country of residence.
International visitors may need to apply for a short-term visa to enter Japan for business or conference participation. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality, so participants should consult the official website of the Japanese embassy or consulate in their respective country for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Attendees are encouraged to prepare all necessary documentation for their visa application. These documents may include a valid passport, travel itinerary, accommodation details, proof of financial support, and an official invitation letter from the conference organizers.
To ensure a smooth application process, participants are strongly recommended to apply for their visa at least 4–6 weeks prior to the conference dates. Early preparation and submission of accurate documentation will help avoid delays and support a successful visa application.
If you require an official invitation letter for visa purposes, please contact the conference organizing committee after completing your registration.
Official Invitation Letter:
Official invitations will be sent to attendees once after registration. The invitation letter will be sent to those who requested it through mail only.
